Rogue has teamed up with some of Portland’s top chefs to form the Sack Lunch PDX cycling team and will be riding over 300 miles in three days this spring to help end childhood hunger.

It’s appalling that there are children around the country who don’t know where there next meal is coming from, and it’s our responsibility to help as much as we can.

Sack Lunch PDX is a part of Chefs Cycle, a nationwide fundraiser for the No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger. More than 300 chefs across the country are raising money while they train for the three-day, 300-mile Chefs Cycle ride in Santa Rosa, Calif., this May. Rogue’s own Minister of Fire Starting, Anna Abatzoglou, will be participating in the ride.

Sack Lunch PDX has committed to collecting $55,000 as a 12-person team. To help raise money for the cause, Rogue is donating $1 from every pint of Sack Lunch Ale purchased.

Find Sack Lunch Ale around town with its distinctive, custom bike tap handles. It’s available at Rogue Meeting Halls in Portland, both Lardo locations, Beer O’Clock, Urban Farmer, Hop City Tavern and Jackrabbit.

Share your beers and support #SackLunchPDX on social media.
