Just last week, The Spirits Business, the only dedicated international spirits magazine and website in the world, handed Rogue Oregon Single Malt Whiskey and Oregon Rye Whiskey gold medals during their American Whiskey Masters Competition. And Dead Guy Whiskey earned the Master Medal, the highest prize awarded.

The news was just the latest in a run of awards collected by Rogue Spirits this year. In all, our spirits have earned 308 awards. But just since January 1, 2017, we’ve taken home 19 medals from seven different world renowned competitions.

The year started with the Good Food Awards choosing Oregon Single Malt Whiskey as a winner.

Dead Guy Whiskey, Oregon Single Malt Whiskey and Oregon Rye Whiskey have each earned medals this year.

During the American Craft Spirits Awards, Spruce Gin earned bronze, while Pink Spruce Gin, Dead Guy Whiskey and Oregon Single Malt Whiskey all took home silver.

The American Distilling Institute determined that Oregon Rye Whiskey and Dead Guy Whiskey deserved bronze and Oregon Single Malt Whiskey, silver.

We brought our Dead Guy Whiskey to the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and they gave us a Double Gold for it. According to the competition itself, “The Double Gold designation is awarded to the very few entries that receive Gold medal ratings by all members of the judging panel. These are among the finest products in the world.” We also earned Bronze medals for Oregon Single Malt Whiskey and Spruce Gin at the same event.

We’re honored to accept medals for both our gins this year as well.

The International Whisky Competition, which is judged by the most respected spirits experts in the industry, handed our Oregon Rye Whiskey a bronze.

At the SIP Awards, the only blind tasting competition that enlists consumers as judges, we accepted Platinum for Dead Guy Whiskey and Gold for Spruce Gin.

And finally, just before we learned of the American Whiskey Masters results, The Spirits Business also held their Gin Masters competition and announced that both our gins, Spruce and Pink Spruce, deserved Gold.

It’s been a good year for Rogue Spirits so far. And it’s not over yet.
