On February 28, we brought out our Dead Guys to the streets of Portland.

And handed out free cans.

The Rogue hearse solemnly visited six locations around the city, where passersby were treated to a fresh can of Dead Guy Ale to try at home.

First, we stopped at Hollywood Vintage, bringing one Oregon classic to another. Dead Guy fit right in beneath the gargoyles looming over the entrance.

Next, we paid a visit to Voodoo Doughnut and Voodoo Doughnut Too, the two Portland locations of the legendary doughnut shop responsible for the doughnut-inspired flavors in our collision series.

Then we visited the original site of Casa U-Betcha in Northwest Portland, the now-shuttered Tex Mex restaurant where the Dead Guy was born.

In Cathedral Park, Dead Guy fit right in under the dramatic Gothic arches of the St. Johns Bridge.

Finally, the Dead Guy found his way back to the Rogue Eastside Pub & Pilot Brewery — our newest Rogue Meeting Hall — where followers could pick up their free can and stay for a pint in the pub.
