Fat American? It’s the Sugar

The absurdity, and peril, of USDA recommendations

The USDA is the official government body that recommends what we eat, and how much. Currently, the USDA guidelines state that Americans should limit their added sugar consumption to 10% of their calories.

This translates into 200 calories a day in a 2,000-calorie a day diet, or 12 teaspoons of sugar. Here…
