As you may already know, TikTok, the controversial social media app for “creators,” is owned by a Chinese company, ByteDance, and that, my friends, we no likey here in the US. Think “China virus,” as Diaper Don still refers to it and you’ll understand the vitriol. Also, they’re using the app to spy on us, because we’re fascinating AF.

So, to rid ourselves of this Asian invasion, both the Democratic and Scumbag Party support a law to ban TikTok in the United States, to take effect in January, unless the company is sold to Norwegians.

I just made that last bit up because when have we ever felt threatened by Norway?

Politics aside, I tune into TikTok from time to time to watch food-related videos and also, to read fragrance reviews on #PerfumeTok. I find relatively mindless entertainment like this helps ease my chronic anxiety unless it’s through the roof, and then only a shot or two of cheap vodka will do the trick.

There are also those times when TikTok makes me very anxious, as well as pissed-off and resentful. This is due to the plethora of young twits making the kind of coin many of us can only dream…
