Remembering Sophie Bernadette

On October 7, 2023, at 5:57 a.m., I lost my Service Dog in Training (SDIT) Sophie. She was only ten months old. She died of NSAID poisoning after accidentally ingesting Aleve in the middle of the night a few nights ago. She died just as she lived right next to me. She was a happy joyful puppy and hands down the most loving and intelligent dog I’ve ever met. Even in her last days, she was following me around the house, sleeping under/in my bed, and taking treats. She truly did love her life and the job she was learning to do for…
