The Next Web’s 2020 Tech5 selected Rollet as one of the most influential startups in Hungary. Rollet’s mobility innovation allows any car to become a payment token so the driver can pay for parking, fueling or at a drive-through restaurant just by driving by, without manually making a payment. No interaction is needed from customers because the payment process is fully automated, from car identification to a complete payment transaction.
“We’re delighted to join TNW’s best Hungarian startups together with Codecool, Recart, Syncee and Talentuno. Budapest’s startup ecosystem has developed a lot in the past few years that helps innovators to create businesses that have never been seen before, globally. At Rollet, we believe that we are working on something unique that makes drivers’ everyday lives easier, faster and more seamless.” — Andy Zhang, CEO of Rollet
TNW’s Tech5 showcases the hottest young scale-ups in all European countries based on their performance, growth, and potential. Criteria include notable investment rounds, team growth, media coverage and social impact. The top-5 of each country will be invited for the Founders Day during the TNW Conference in Amsterdam.
The aim of TNW 2020 is to help startups reach the next level through connections, business, and access to capital. Last year, over 5,000 startups exhibited and collectively raised more than 4 billion in funding. Besides the startup exhibition, Rollet will have the opportunity to pitch its Hungarian innovation on TNW stage in front of investors and the international media.
