Banff, Canada

In late September and via Calgary, we set-up to spend 5 days in Banff National Park. It was already low season and we got no difficulties for getting permits. As winter was already half there, we setup for a loop on the North side, where fires are allowed and has more peaks/valleys than famous blue lakes.

We got fresh snow some nights which added to the prettiness and wilderness feeling.

There are some hot springs after the first climb
Afternoon sun on these peaks/lakes typical of the region
Morning after a snowy night
There were a few passes and valleys to cross
When it is Winter condition, don’t forget the saucisson ;)
Sunsets were sublime thanks to all the elements in place at this season
Fall colors + Snow + Wide valleys = Majestic Trip
