Done during the summer months, this is a place full of colors and variations. It was mostly sunny with some heavy fog from time to time, especially on lower elevations.

The trail circles around Mt Rainier and was trekked in three days, so we walked from very early to late. Mt Rainier is very imposing, and the Northern part of the trail was the prettiest. This was the perfect preparation for climbing Mt Rainier at the end of the trip!

It is 93 trail miles / 150 km
First light of the day on the first morning (and first view on Mount Rainier). Circling around Rainier has the benefit of showing-up its various faces.
Some typical sceneries: flowers, green, above the fog and seeing peaks far away
North side of the loop, where the trail gets a bit further from Rainier which provides a great overview. Clouds were forming and disappearing on the summit through the day.
Going down the lower part of the trail below the treeline. More foresty, foggy, rivery.
