Everything is Wrong

A Poem about living together

You are gone right now,
And the only way you might come back is
If I leave you the hell alone.
I called you because
I did not know if you had gotten my message.
I called
And only ended up
Pissing you off.
Of course, it was my fault
I could not hear you
On the phone.
And so, you had to get mad
That I called,
It could never be your fault.
And you thought I was asking you to leave O’Malleys?
Seriously,
Would I ask that?
Do you think I am that
Mean? Or wicked?
I saw your jaw clench.
Or did I imagine it all?
Like you say, I do.
And that nothing is wrong.
Of course,
Nothing is wrong,
When everything is wrong.
