We’ve reached a point where the evidence has started to pile high. Framed as a war on terror, Israel’s war on Gaza has been exposed as the pinnacle of barbarism and the height of slaughter. Defenders have often sought to counter cold-hard evidence with labels of “terrorist sympathizer” and “anti-semite,” but to do so now — knowing what we know — is akin to standing in the desert, staring at the blazing sun, and denying its existence.

Whether it’s the so-called “war on Hamas,” the supposed lack of intent to ethnically cleanse and commit genocide, or the alleged non-desire to steal Gaza as their own — and we will take each claim in turn — the Israelis have, in the world’s only live-streamed mass-slaughter, left behind a trail of evidence that undoes every claim they’ve made.

Given Netanyahu’s arrogance, there are cases where the Israelis have spoon-fed us the evidence themselves — almost taunting the world, saying do what you will.

There are real motivations here, not the ones communicated by Western media, but motivations that are almost too horrible to imagine in the 21st century. We have returned to the age of state racism, imperial expansion, and purging.
