How to Start Rooam-ing

Follow these simple steps to start paying your bar tab or restaurant bill from your phone!

Rooam is just as easy to use as any other app on your phone. Follow these basic steps to get yourself Rooam-ing today:

To start off, just open the Rooam app and we’ll show you the three nearest open locations. Not seeing the place you want to go to? Click See All Locations to view every spot you can use Rooam.

Next, click on the bar, restaurant, or music venue of your choice. Here, you can check out pictures, hours of operations, and a brief description of each location. Click Open Tab (the big red button at the bottom of the screen) and you’ll automatically open a tab on their system. Note: Don’t worry if you accidentally open a tab, just close it out and you won’t be charged.

Now it’s time to order with your bartender or server. If your bartender asks you to start a tab, be sure to mention you’re using Rooam. Order whatever you want and watch your tab automatically update every time you order something.

Nicely done! It’s been a blast, but sadly the night can’t last forever. Luckily, Rooam can help you end the night on your own terms. No need to wait in a line to pay your tab or attempt to flag down the bartender or server while they are busy. Just re-open the Rooam app and press Close Tab. Rooam even gives you a summary of what you ordered and how much you’ve paid.

Let’s say you had a little too much fun last night and forgot to pay your bar tab. Well, never fear, Rooam automatically closes your tab at the end of the night. No more going back to retrieve your credit card the next day! So, chug some Pedialyte, order some greasy food, and hop back on Rooam to scope out where to have your next care-free adventure.
