New voting round on Roobee DAO!
We’ve added a new proposal on dao.roobee.finance — all users who have staked bROOBEE on Roobee DAO can participate and vote on it.

🔸 What is Optimistic?
There are currently a number of DeFi protocols built to enable users to interact with DeFi apps both at low costs and with greater security.
The Optimistic network is a Layer 2 solution based on the Ethereum blockchain. It utilizes Rollups technology and is aimed at increasing the scalability of Ethereum. Optimism is a ‘separate’ blockchain, but unlike other L2 solutions, it is tightly coupled with the Ethereum network. In many ways, it can be seen as an extension of Ethereum.
Optimism Ethereum performs all transaction computations on its own network but stores transaction data on the Ethereum chain. It also supports Ethereum programming languages. As a result, the Optimism network inherits not only the economic security of Ethereum but also Ethereum’s software security.
🔸 What are the benefits for users?
The Optimistic network offers the same advantages as Ethereum: tens of thousands of validators, the highest TVL, a huge community of users and developers, robust security, compatibility with all Ethereum-based applications, and more.
Transactions on Optimism Ethereum are processed instantly and cost roughly ten times cheaper when compared to Ethereum.
Ethereum bridged to OE is represented by the Optimistic Ethereum (OETH) token.

🔸 The integration of Optimism Ethereum L2 into Roobee.Finance
The integration of OE will enable Roobee.finance users to interact with DeFi apps that are based on the Optimistic network.
Initially, we will add bridges for Optimism Ethereum L2 and a user dashboard. Later, we also plan to add some awesome products for you to interact with DeFi!
