Results of the Roobee and Gate.io’s AMA session

Gate.io held an AMA with the Roobee team in Gate.io’s Telegram group.
Gate.io and the Roobee team talked about the Roobee platform and how, with the help of Roobee, users can build a portfolio made of instruments from both the crypto and traditional markets and take part in pre-IPOs of large companies. They also touched upon how users can interact with DeFi in a decentralized way via Roobee.finance!

Question: roobee Admin thank you for being here with us today, how are you doing?
- Roobee Admin: Hello! Im great, how bout you? Gate is a lovely place to do AMA. Glad to see all of you.
Question: So, could you tell us about yourself?
- Roobee Admin: Of course, we are ROOBEE core development team. We re doing multichain financial tools since 2018. Now we are mainly focused on DeFi and multichain tooling for the whole Crypto world 🤟
Question: Thanks Roobee. Tell us about your product and the areas you’re focused on.
- Roobee Admin: We’re scaling Roobee in two directions — centralized and decentralized. With the help of the solutions we’ve implemented, our users can interact with both the stock and crypto markets.
Question: Tell us more about your centralized solution.
- One of the key advantages of the centralized part of the Roobee platform is that users can buy ETF products from the traditional market via crypto or a bank card. Roobee also allows users to access instruments previously available only to a limited circle of investors: for instance, participation in pre-IPOs. Roobee utilizes blockchain technology to ensure transparent and unforgeable statistics.
Question: Can you share some details on the ETFs and pre-made portfolios available on your platform?
Roobee Admin: Sure, here are some of the popular ETFs:
- S&P 500 ETF
- SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) ETF
- iShares Russell 2000 ETF
- an ETF on Chinese technology companies
- and more
In addition to standalone ETFs, we also add well-balanced portfolios consisting of ETF products from various economic sectors.
- Green Power, a portfolio consisting of two green energy ETFs
- Trending Tech, a portfolio made of four ETFs investing in biotech, IT, eSports, and AI companies
- Affected Sectors, a portfolio made of four ETFs that invest in US companies involved in the energy, travel, and transportation industries
- Evergreen, a portfolio made of two ETFs related to the marijuana industry
- SPAC/IPO, a portfolio consisting of two ETFs that seek to invest in early-stage companies
Question: You’ve mentioned that Roobee provides the opportunity to take part in pre-IPOs. What pre-IPOs have your users participated in?
Roobee Admin: Since the platform release, Roobee users have taken part in the pre-IPOs of several major companies:
- SpaceX
- Airbnb
- Robinhood
- Diamond Foundry
- InVision
- Klarna
Participation in these pre-IPO products is no longer available — all of the pre-IPO rounds have already been successfully closed.
Question: Cool! Now, please tell us about the decentralized part of Roobee.
- Roobee Admin: The decentralized part of the Roobee platform enables anyone anywhere in the world to access various DeFi-based financial products and services. With the help of Roobee.finance, users can perform the entire set of actions needed for decentralized interaction with crypto — make cross-chain transfers, trade and swap assets, or earn interest on their assets — and do so across several networks (Ethereum, Optimistic and BSC). We also launched Roobee DAO.
Question: You strive to support many blockchains. Do you plan to add products from all the networks you support?
- Roobee Admin: Yes! We carefully select projects before integrating them into Roobee.finance. For each network supported by Roobee.finance, we will be adding products that will enable users to earn yields on their assets in just a few clicks.
Question: You mentioned Roobee DAO. Tell us more about it.
- Roobee Admin: Roobee DAO is a BSC-based decentralized platform for staking and governance proposal creation. Users who have bROOBEE tokens can put forward governance proposals and participate in voting. For example, users can make proposals on changes to bROOBEE staking rewards on Roobee DAO or platform parameter changes on Roobee.finance and propose adding new products to the latter.
Question: What products or features do you plan to implement near term?
- Roobee Admin: At the moment, we’re actively working on making it possible for our users to use all the popular blockchains via Roobee.finance. We’re moving towards turning our decentralized platform into a sort of hub, where users will be able to access the entire range of DeFi opportunities in just a few mouse clicks without even leaving Roobee.finance. We are also exploring ways to gamify our app!
Question: Right now, there is a trend for so-called ‘retrospective airdrops’. Does your team plan to reward the early users of Roobee.finance?
- Roobee Admin: We already held a retrospective airdrop a little while back and rewarded some of our early users who had interacted with decentralized Roobee products. You may have noticed that I said “some of our early users” :) That’s because we plan to hold a second airdrop round for the early users of Roobee products! That’s all I can say on that now, and, for obvious reasons, I can’t reveal the conditions for receiving the rewards. But here’s a tiny hint: the tokens will be distributed among the users of decentralized Roobee products.

Question: Many project devs abandon for no reasons later and due to lack of experience. So are you an experienced team and is your team anonymous or public?
- Roobee Admin: We do our project publically and we are existing for almost 4 years now. Our team also won many hackathons. Several with Vitalik Buterin as a judge.
Question: DeFi is one of the hottest topics in the current blockchain field. Can Roobee share your opinion on DeFi with us? Do you think DeFi will destroy the existing financial system? What is a Roobee method in the DeFi industry?
- Roobee Admin: Our method is to combine traditional and decentralised finance
Question: There have been many fraud projects in the crypto world lately. Investors don’t want to lose. Why should we trust your project?
- Roobee Admin: Because you can check our track record. We are in the market for almost 4 years. Constantly developing our product. We are long term value players. Not a hype that will last one day
Question: Do you have any plans to add NFT’s to your ecosystem as this is the hottest topic in the crypto space???Do you have a Token Burning plan to increase Token value and attract Investors to invest?
- Roobee Admin: Yes, we already had experience with NFTs, even collaboration with Rarible. Token is being used in our platform, it’s naturally circulating in economy of our service
Question: Where can I buy your token right now and do you plan to list your token on centralized exchanges like Binance?
- Roobee Admin: We are already listed on best exchange — gate.io ❤️
