🔥 We’ve added support for Arbitrum to Roobee.finance!
We are happy to let you know that today we’ve integrated the Arbitrum network into Roobee.finance! The deployment to Arbitrum will help to significantly increase transaction processing speed and lower gas fees for Roobee.finance users.
🔸 What is Arbitrum?
The Arbitrum network is a Layer 2 solution based on the Ethereum blockchain. Similar to Optimistic OΞ, Arbitrum utilizes Rollups technology and is aimed at increasing the scalability of Ethereum.
Arbitrum is very similar to Optimistic, with the main difference between the two projects being the way they generate fraud proof. Unlike Optimistic, which executes the whole Layer 2 transaction, Arbitrum takes a multi-round approach where it executes small chunks of the L2 transaction until it finds a discrepancy. This approach has the benefit of enabling higher transaction capacity. Arbitrum supports all EMV languages, including YUL, Vyper, and Solidity.
Transactions on the Arbitrum network are processed instantly and cost ten times cheaper when compared to Ethereum.
Ethereum bridged to Arbitrum is represented by the Arbitrum Ethereum (AETH) token.

🔸 How do I start using Arbitrum?
Before you start, please make sure that your wallet supports the Arbitrum. For example, Arbitrum has already been integrated into Trust Wallet and SafePal. If you are a MetaMask user, you’ll first need to set up your MetaMask for the Arbitrum network.
Like any other network, Arbitrum charges transaction fees. The native currency of Arbitrum is AETH — all transaction fees are also charged in AETH. In order to send a transaction on Arbitrum, you’ll need enough AETH.
Once your wallet is set up, you are ready to migrate assets to the Arbitrum network. You can send your ETH to Arbitrum via bridge.arbitrum.io and receive AETH for further interaction with the network. You can also use cbridge to transfer ETH, for instance, from the BSC network, which will allow you to significantly save on fees.
🔸 What capabilities have been introduced for users with the integration of Arbitrum to Roobee.Finance?
As a first step, we’ve added a user dashboard and bridges for Arbitrum. Roobee.finance users are already able to migrate their assets to Arbitrum via the bridge.arbitrum.io gateway or cbridge. Arbitrum is compatible with many popular wallets including MetaMask, SafePal, Trust Wallet, and WalletConnect.
