Rook Security made its presence felt over the past weekend at the second annual Circle City Con at the Westin hotel in Indianapolis.
Circle City Con is a security conference that encourages the development of information security skills through educational talks, free training sessions and contests for students and IT professionals.
Rook Security had three speakers at the conference. CEO J.J. Thompson hosted a discussion on “False Prophets”, security operations manager Tom Gorup presented on “Departmentalizing Your SecOps” and senior advisor Arlie Hartman spoke on “User Awarement, We’re Doing It Wrong.”
The Rook Security booth was also a popular spot for attendees to stop. Guests gathered information about the company, talked with company employees and were able to retrieve free t-shirts and other Rook swag. But the highlight of the space included both hackers and kids alike stopping to play Super Smash Bros. on the Wii.
