European women make more hotel bookings via mobile phone than men

67% of hotel bookings via mobile are made by women. The European country where mobile phones are most used when it comes to searching for a hotel is France and people aged between 35 and 44 are the most frequent users of this device for booking accommodation.

Women are ahead of men in terms of hotel bookings via mobile phone. Almost 67% of women prefer the convenience of this device when it comes to looking for their ideal accommodation.

France, country ranked 1st for mobile phone hotel bookings

The country of the city of love, the Eiffel Tower and delicious crepes…is now also the country with the most bookings via mobile phone.

It is striking that, aside from Portugal, it is southern countries that most frequently use this device to get accommodation, with Italy and Spain in second and third place respectively. In last place, we find Finland with a little over 7% of bookings made via smartphone.

No, it isn't young people who most use their mobile phone to make hotel bookings!

Against all odds, the youngest sector is not the one that makes most hotel bookings via mobile, rather it is people aged between 35 and 44.

With regard to devices, first place is still held by a classic, the tireless computer. However, the growth in the use of devices such as mobile phones for hotel bookings is unstoppable, and if you think otherwise just ask European women!  .
