Paris, place to be for Europeans during Easter 2018.

Paris, Rome and London the three main cities that will be most visited in Easter 2018. Unique monuments such as the Roman Colosseum, the Eiffel Tower and Big Ben could be a reasons for the choices of the travellers. For these cities most hotel reservations have been made for Easter vacation this year.

Outside Europe favored destinations, which are frequently booked are Marrakech, also known as the “southern perl”, Varadero in Cuba and Cayo Santa María.

In relation to the countries, we have selected some places to find out where Europeans prefer to travel these holidays.

Italy

Let‘s start with Italy, the country of fashion and art. Italians prefer to travel to Paris during Easter, although many of them also prefer to celebrate these holidays at “home”, staying at one of the fantastic hotels in Verona.

Spain

After a very cold and rainy winter, the Spanish people bet on the beach this holiday and in particular for the well-known and famous Benidorm, a city that is never out of style. It is followed by two of the most prestigious cities in Europe: London and Paris.

Germany

This Easter season the Germans prefer to travel to Vienna, capital of Austria. This city known for its wonderful palaces, musical culture and delicious desserts such as the historic and unique Sachertorte, takes us back to another era. Moreover they tend to travel to another neighbour country to discover cities like Serris, Magny-le-Hongre or Paris located in the north of the France.

United Kingdom

It seems that the British are going for family trips these holidays, since their first destination is Magny-le-Hongre, which is only a step away from Eurodisney. In any case, the trend is set not only due to its proximity to this place of leisure but also for its historical monuments and parks, ideal to enjoy the new arrival of spring.

France

The French (of course!) also choose the brilliant Paris as their first destination. The city of the Seine is not only famous for its great offer of art and culture, but also for the great diversity of activities it offers. Moreover during spring season it is nice to enjoy the sun in one of the many welcoming cafés with its own charm. And if not, ask the little ones (and also the British …), who can enjoy Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and company in the magical Eurodisney.

Portugal

Unlike the rest of the countries, the Portuguese decided unanimously to enjoy this holiday in their land, highlighting Évora as the city where most hotel reservations have been made for these dates. Diverse capital Lisboa, which is ranked secondly, is followed by Albufeira a city at the famous southern coastline of the country.
