You can’t force anyone to save,
It’s like exercise, a person must do it themselves,
They must want it first, before taking action.
What do you want? Do you want to save?

Tell people your first priority,
Say it’s to save someone, a noble task,
That you must help them in their delima,
Who is that person? Why, it’s you if they ask.

Self saves self, self helps self,
Ten percent is a good figure to use,
One-tenth of everything coming in,
Stays and grows, getting more serious.

Time is a generous schedule,
Always timely, the perfect gauge,
Constantly weighing something against nothing,
Adding to the wealth, building up.

Total steadily rising, resulting in confidence,
Locked away, safe, structured, secure,
Security, that’s the word, trusting positive,
In a vault that is impenetrable, sealed off.

Advice: Force yourself to save,
Resist temptation to spend,
Be thrifty in all you ways,
Use the money to fight off old age.

Help others if you choose,
Give if you so desire,
The choices are yours,
Your savings are your empire.
