For this blog post I chose to examine the Ted Talk by Jane McGonigal. In her talk, I believe she is trying to reach the audience of not only gamers but people who want to make a difference in the world. To answer the question of what the difference would be if she addressed the audience or not; I believe if she hadn’t addressed the audience she may have not gotten their attention. She uses gamers to show that if ordinary people were to have the optimism and ambition to accomplish goals and solve problems, then the world would be a better place.
