Almost 3 years ago to the day Route 1 regular, Kiite teamed up with Area Grey on a joint Ep entitled ‘Flying In Monochrome’ that was released on Route 1 Audio. The released consisted of two tracks Closer & Cherry. ‘Closer’ being an almost downtempo but kept it’s momentum with a solid rolling sub bassline and ‘Cherry’ delivering a upfront 2-step UK Garage sound made solely for causing dance floor disruption.

The latter recently received a rework and has seen a revised edition make its way onto Area Grey’s debut album ‘Recollect’ (which we strongly advise you check out)

Cherry has not only gone on to have a new lease of life but it has made it’s way into the new Tomb Raider movie.

Make sure to listen carefully for Cherry’s cameo in the movie and lets hope we can sneak more UKG into the background of big budget Hollywood blockbusters!!
