Route 1 Audio x DOT Events — Save Nightlife
On Friday we [ Route 1 Audio ] hosted an event with DOT Events at the Charterhouse Bar, Farringdon. We put on the night to raise awareness for the current demise in Londons nightlife scene. The whole city has been rocked by the recent closure of Fabric, and the feeling around the whole scene and culture is that nobody is safe. The lack of support from the government, Mayor of London and the Met police is worrying to say the least. Hopefully if we keep pushing and making enough noise they will have to listen to London’s heartbeat. Its what has made this city so special throughout the years.
On the night We had an array of music throughout the night from House, Techno through to Garage, Grime and Jungle. Everything that London is built on! Culture, music and great people!

We also went down and showed our support for Tim, who was raising money and awareness for the Fabric nightclub situation. He was dancing for 24 hours solid literally 100 meters from our event, so we went and had a little dance with him! Below is some words from the man himself and also links to go and support the cause.
