Introducing Workspace

The new ROVA Platform Account Management has grown in capabilities, features, and user experience. Through talking with businesses who are on the Platform, the account management feature set wasn’t sufficient. It was quickly apparent that these updates were needed for the success of their business. They needed ways to stay organized with their teams, manage account billing, and control role preferences.

Here are the latest features from the ROVA Platform.

Adding Teams

One of the new features on the Platform is the ability to add teams, or groupings of individuals, to a single account. For example, if your business spans nationally, you can create an unlimited amount of teams under one email, or unique ID.

You can create a Business 1 San Francisco Team and a Business 2 Boston Team, and manage both teams with one login. This feature helps you stay organized with your business, no matter the scale. This also allows for location specific requirements to be met.

You simply navigate to the Workspace tab to access your teams and editing capabilities. From there you can drop down the Team Name, and select whichever team you want to organize. Included on the detail page of each team, are the members and roles, last login, payment method for that team, default address and pickup information, and API credentials.

Team dropdown

If you plan on being a one person team, we’re all about it. You’re automatically set up with a personal team account with you set as the Admin. If you decide to invite others later down the line, the Platform is set for the expansion.

Team Members

Another feature addition is the ability to add different members to each team. You can do this by inviting them through the platform, by email. They will receive an email invitation, whether they have an account on the ROVA Platform already or would be a new user. Once they accept the invite, will be added to the team as what is defined by the invitee: admin, developer, or user.

All three of these roles have different permissions and access to the platform. The admin can change their roles and permissions whenever necessary after the invite is accepted. Each member has that specific role level access in the platform.

Linking credit cards

With multiple teams supported on the ROVA Platform, another feature added is the ability to link different bank cards to each team.

The Platform allows for billing differently for your San Francisco office and your Boston office with one login.

Conveniently, you can add an unlimited amount of cards to your entire account. You can also change the default card, delete cards in the profile, and add new cards for payment.

New UX Organization

With a new user experience and organization of information, the ROVA Platform is set to scale for the future. For an easier, and more central control of the user’s personal profile preferences, you can access the settings in the top right corner of the Platform.

Profile available on all pages of platform

This also allows for control of your business personal preferences throughout the platform, including password changes, addresses, and company information.

Account Information

Because of this new organization, the Platform has goals to later include features similar to rating, saving favorite drivers, and controlling notifications per team.

Conclusion
