December 2021 Gold Coast Car Race Event

According to Rowan Relton — car racer, the Gold Coast is more renowned for supercars than surfers, as the Supercars Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 takes to the circuit and sends shockwaves through Surfers Paradise.

On the 3–5 December 2021, the biggest names in racing will descend on the Gold Coast, together with a 200,000-strong crowd, for Queensland’s largest automotive event on the It’s Live calendar.

If you want to get in on the excitement, here’s how to make the most of the sun, surf, and supercars as Surfers Paradise’s beach-side streets are converted into a world-class race circuit.

What you need to know about Gold Coast 500

Let’s get one thing straight: this is a three-day event, so whether you’re driving or watching from the sidelines, you’ll need stamina to make it to the finish line, says Rowan Relton.

It’s not only us that thinks so; supercar champion Craig Lowndes said of the circuit, “It’s a challenging, tight track… You can’t afford to put a foot wrong since it’s both intellectually and physically demanding.”

By day, it’s all about engines, and by night, it’s all about live entertainment, with an action-packed schedule that starts with breakfast activities and ends with major concerts on various stages.
