Casting shadows.
All we do casts shadows.
The hand we raise
In love or hate
Casts a shadow.
The things we make,
Books and bullets,
Cast shadows.
The children we rear
Austere or rebellious
Raise their own hands,
Make their own craft,
Rear their own kind,
And ever on.
Our forefathers cast their shadows into the future
In this way.
And so do we.
And ever on do we.
