A spin on the classic game in order to reveal deeper layers of Identity

Looking for an engaging experiment? How about we play a game?

Guess Who — Tailored

Guess Who? — Reversed.

You describe the person before you, but you obviously don’t want your opponent guessing- so you pick descriptions that are less obvious — something beyond the visual- deeper layers.

We used images of our classmates and had them fight it out — chess tournament style- audience and all- bang in the middle of the studio.

Findings from the game include:

  1. The usage of comparison to self — “ Shorter than me”, “More hair than me”
  2. The usage of ACTIONS (Why do the wheels not have actions as part of identity?)
  3. The usage of ‘not’ instead of ‘is’
  4. Saying “I think….” — again with reference to self and perspective
  5. The fact that they were being recorded and observed made them anxious about using certain descriptions.

Some hilarious arguments between Ivan and Jingle broke out as well — just another normal day with the team.
