SWOTs and whatnot

In an attempt to make sense of all the information and ideas we had collected so far we re arranged our maps and did a few exercises to get the ball rolling.

We revisited the drawing board, and moved things around. (In our case they are probably going to move around a bit more in the coming days)

Voting and Categorisation of Ideas
Crazy 8's

Some crazy 8’s took form. From RFID playing cards to Augmented Binoculars we had them all.

In terms of implementing our “identity as layers” idea we had quite a few options. We thought it would be best to go through with a SWOT analysis to see what would work best.

SWOT Analysis

It became clear that the act of “building/constructing” an identity was one that was more achievable in the given time frame. Now how are we going to go about that? What forms or objects have layers within them? What about tunnel books?

Would it be a little workshop where people could build tunnel books for others — each layer of the tunnel representing an aspect of identity. If we go through with this what is our visual database? Where do the images come from? Is it all visual, could there be sonic and tactile components as well? Or could we scale it up — make it a walk through tunnel book of sorts. Are people walking into a life size wardrobe of sorts and trying on layers of identity before a mirror? What would be the feedback loop? Most of all, how are we going to incorporate the wheel- our idea of the digital shifting the way we look at identity?

Digital Wheel?
