Testing inspirational approach to get more subscribers
The control version of this test is very plain, a little boring, so I decided to be a lot more inspirational with bolder messaging and imagery. Result? Unfortunately less subscribers.
But was it the messaging or the implementation?
Right after that, I tested promising discount instead of inspiring stories. Guess what? 20% increase in the subscription rate. The only problem is: giving discounts in a scalable way requires quite some development. Something to prioritize with the marketing team.

Before I worked on this email it was really difficult to find out what the next steps should be. You actually had to read. This one not only is to the point but sets the expectations for the future.
