RPGChain D20 Token Airdrop (Chapter One) and More!
Last night at 9 PM EST we initiated a snapshot to track all current RPGChain NFT holders.
Below is some information on the snapshot results themselves, airdrop information, future airdrops, and more!
Snapshot Results
At the time of our snapshot 166/256 Hero NFTs were minted, with 108 total NFT holders.
Of these, we had 2 holders holding between 10–14 NFTs (our very first whales), and the remaining holders had anywhere between 1–5 NFTs per account.
Airdrop Information
1 Million (5% of the token supply) D20 tokens are reserved for the NFT holder airdrop. Since about 90 NFTs are still mintable at the time of writing this, we’ve decided to split the airdrop into two chapters, with each chapter airdropping 50% of the allocation (500,000 D20 tokens).
Splitting it up this way allows future NFT minters the chance to participate, while at the same time, providing early holders even more tokens (since they will participate in both drops).
Chapter One
The first airdrop to this snapshot of Hero NFT holders will occur over this weekend, where the current 108 NFT holders will receive to their address 3,012 tokens per number of NFTs held.
Chapter Two
The second airdrop snapshot will take place once all NFTs have been minted. Shortly after, we will airdrop another 500,000 tokens to the 256 NFT holders, which will come out to roughly 1,953 tokens each.
Viewing Your D20 Tokens
The D20 token is launched on the Polygon network to keep fees low and interactions fairly quick while interacting with RPGChain contracts and projects. You can click here to view more about our decision to use Polygon.
To view your D20 tokens you will need to switch your MetaMask to use the Polygon / Matic network.

Airdrop — Chapter Two
We wanted to begin distribution of the D20 token without waiting for others, the next airdrop snapshot will occur once all minted, consist of the remaining reserved 500,000 tokens

IRL Surprise
In a previous post, I mentioned a physical gift that will be sent to RPGChain NFT holders. We are still waiting for this to roll out but we are sure supporters of our project will love it. 👀 We will be sharing more information once we can.
Early Discord Members Airdrop
If you were one of the early users on our Discord but unable to mint a HERO NFT, we want to let you know we appreciate your early support. If you have an “Early Adventurers” role you will be getting some D20 tokens as well.
We will have more details on that soon as well!
I have tokens, now what
D20s will be the native token of RPGChain, and the currency used to play user-written adventures in the marketplace. While that project is being worked on, you have a few options of other uses you can put your D20s to.
HODL
Keep them safe and cozy in your wallet, ready to use once RPGChain is fully up and running!
Roll Them!
We have a beta contract available to play with by visiting https://rpgchain.com/dashboard and clicking on The Dice Tower section. Here, you will be able to drop a D20 token into the dice tower, which will return your D20 token back along with a random number!
Trade within your D&D group
You can use these tokens within your own tabletop RPG group, pass them around to friends, or use them as an easy way to to keep track of gold or other in-game assets on the blockchain.
Provide Liquidity
More advanced users may want to support the project by providing liquidity to the token. You can do this on the SushiSwap exchange and we will have a detailed tutorial on how to do this in the coming days.
In the future, we will be providing an easy way to accomplish and earn additional D20 tokens in the process, more on this as the contract is developed.
