We all have our ‘ugly crying face’ that your friends make fun of you for, your mom laughs at when you’re being dramatic and is ultimately the ugliest face you as a person can ever have. But fortunately for Kim, she may be the only person who can actually capitalize on ugliness.

Kim Kardashian is the type of person who can become a reality TV star, have someone screengrab a photo of her crying and then make her an internet sensation….using her ‘ugly crying face’.

As everyone knows Kim Kardashian is one of the most popular celebrities in the world. ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ is what started it all, the internet put her on the come up (in more ways than one, but we aren’t going to share the other ways…), and now her ugliest face has become a meme I am sure we have all seen and secretly love.

For many, having your face screengrabbed while you sob on national television is something we would find..embarassing. For Kim, she will just take your screengrab, add an emoji and make it into a phone case!! Talk about capitalizing on the bad and the ugly. Since then, Kim has been seen spotted with her “personalized” phone case and you can have one too!

Kim K is a prime example of someone using their “meme-status” and making it something so much bigger. Following the crying meme, Kim decided to make ‘Kimoji’. Now Kimoji is….exactly…how it sounds. You can download the app on the App Store for $3.99 and not only find an emoji of her ‘ugly crying face’ but SO. MUCH. MORE. There are emojis of her taking a selfie (classic), her hourglass body, her backside, etc.

Kimmy definitely succeeded in capitalizing on something that fell right into her lap, her own face. Since then, Kim has continued to slay the online game, promoting her website and personal app, as well as being our go to Instagram follow. She resembles today’s age and the skill of using something consumers find funny over social media and turning it into a product that she can trademark and sell to us knowing many will buy it. Kim’s strong presence on Twitter and Instagram actively help her in her role as a social media influencer and ultimately Kim helps to shape the world of social, one ‘ugly crying face’ at a time.
