More than an advisor for RTS Network team, Animesh Singh is a pillar to our company. He has been the goto person in all the tough times, where he has simplified our problems, pushed our limits and has always done what he does best for us, The Mindset Correction.

He is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Health & Glow, India’s most trusted beauty store since 20years and was associated with Jabong and Alshaya Retail at the key Business roles.

From his wealth of experience, Animesh will be talking to us about startups, and blockchain today.

Animesh, we heard a lot about you from our founders. Please tell us more about yourself.

I love to work with startups and with people who are passionate about what they are building.

I have been fortunate to work on businesses being built from scratch and that gives me immense thrill.

You’ve been leading the operations of India’s most trusted beauty store, Health and Glow, what has been the reason for your success?

I think success depends on two things; passion that drives you from within and the people you work with.

You’ve mentored the core team of Roots from the beginning. How do you feel pushing & shaping the journey of the Roots to RTS Network and beyond?

I would say, it has been a rewarding journey for me so far. The team has a never give up attitude. It is very important to focus and keep moving. Sounds very simple but not so easy.

Under your guidance, we have currently partnered with IIT-Delhi eDC to create a startup friendly ecosystem for entrepreneurs interested in blockchain technology. What are your thoughts on this?

I am very excited about this. Both as an alumnus of IIT Delhi as well as mentor of RTS. This will help nurturing new ideas in blockchain tech and motivating budding entrepreneurs.

Tourism industry is saturated at multiple levels. What do you think are going to be the key factors for Roots to disrupt and sustain in this domain?

Innovation.

There is a famous quote from Dean Kamen, very apt for us: Every once in a while, a new technology, an old problem, and a big idea turn into an innovation.

2017 was a successful year for the crypto Market. But 2018 seems to be experiencing much pressure in terms of the regulations that are coming into it. What is the fate of the Cryptocurrency market?

It is a new era that has started and can not be stopped. It will evolve but so will businesses and economies along with it.

The Blockchain technology looks immensely promising, especially with recent developments. But its still at a very nascent stage, with uncertainity around the legal restrictions in our country. What advise would you give to crypto startups coming out of India?

Patience. It may take time but the policy environment will stabilise. Figure out alternative routes in the meanwhile to keep moving.

We currently have been active hiring people for the initial core team. What message would you want to give to the upcoming team?

As I always keep telling the team, the worry is not that we aim too high and end up not achieving it, the worry is if we aim low and end up achieving it.

Thank you Animesh for taking out the time from your schedule for the interview. This is just the beginning of the journey and our best is yet to come.

RTS Network Team is on its way to finalise the advisory board to make us an unstoppable force to a kickass ICO.
