MANGO DAYS

For those of you who hate the scorching summer heat, mangoes are one reason that may tempt you to love the season all the same.

While the rains are lashing many parts of the country already, the International Mango Festival at Delhi provides you with the opportunity to bask in golden glory again.

Organized by the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation in coordination with other concerned organizations, this annual festival gives you the chance to taste a fascinating variety of mangoes from different parts of the country.

The mango party doesn’t end with slices — you get the wildest mango recipes. There are a number of events to keep you entertained, such as mango eating contests and quizzes on the fruit.

Entry fees are quite nominal, and the experience is heavenly for those of you who nurture a love for this king of fruits.
