This year Ru-PAC launched its first-ever summer internship program where students and recent graduates have the opportunity to join one of three teams that will work together over a 12-week period to bring new content and research to the field of Russia-U.S. relations. The Policy Analysis Team is already hard at work writing articles and producing videos/podcasts/live streams in both Russian and English.

You can follow their work by liking us on Facebook, VK, or subscribing to us here on Medium.

He specializes in international security, European politics, developmental aid, democratization, and integration. Artem’s bachelor’s thesis deals with Eurasian integration processes in Central Asia and emphasizes the role of identity issues in regional integration.

He often participates in international projects and initiatives: in 2019, he took part in a study visit to NATO Headquarters and attended a Chinese-Russian Summer School in Moscow. Artem joined this internship program based on his stance for productive U.S.-Russia engagement and firmly believes that the current deadlock in bilateral relations can and should be overcome.

  • “In my estimation, the best thing IR-students can do for now is to trigger dialogue between young people from «opposing sides». On this account, I am organizing and participating in international conferences, MUNs, summer/winter political schools, and academic exchange support programs.”
