Who’s Who & Who’s New at Ru-PAC
Introducing our first team that will be starting work with us this summer!
Introducing the Ru-PAC Research Team:
This year Ru-PAC is starting its first summer internship program where students and recent graduates have the opportunity to join one of three teams that will work together over a 12 week period to bring new content and research related to the field of Russian-US relations. The Research Team will be conducting research into mainstream media bias and its coverage of Crimea since 2014 to understand how media has shaped public opinion and influenced policy decisions.
Our team will seek to answer questions such as: How often did media outlets like CNN, The Washington Post, and The New York Times interview actual Crimeans? How often did such media outlets mention that there is a Russian ethnic majority in Crimea? How often did they tell their audience that there is popular support for Crimea’s reunification with Russia?
