Every time you decide to study hard, do you lose track of time? You feel determined that you will be able to complete all of your topics, but ultimately you feel disappointed in the end. If you are a science background student, I have some tips and tricks for you to follow. And if you are not, please go through the content. I hope you will find at least one trick helpful. Remember, all of these vary from person to person, subject by subject. But whatever it is, you always need to start with a plan.

First, Go through your whole syllabus or contents and make a checklist. Ensure that you have all the reading materials of these listed topics with you. Otherwise, collect it from your peers. This is the first thing you need to do to stay organized before your exams.

Calculate how much time you have left for completing all the syllabus. Understand how much time you will require to learn each topic thoroughly. Then write down the hours you will require in each of these topics within brackets beside your checklist.

Divide your days by theoretical topics, math solving days, and revision period. Categorize topics you will have to finish each day down. Don’t panic if you can’t finish every topic within the desired plan. If it occurs to you often, then while dividing the days, keep 1 or 2 days for covering these topics later.

You can make a grid calendar by Day1, Day 2, and so on. When the day is finished, before going to sleep, cross the day. Maximum students do not feel the urge to study until they feel the pressure. These cross marks will keep you under pressure that one more day has passed. This way I hope you will find yourself more productive than on other days.

At the start of your next day, recall the things you covered yesterday within 5 minutes and cross them down if you feel you won’t need to go through them until the revision period. Otherwise, you can just put a tick mark.

You can write down the short notes or terms new to you using pencils and later when you get to know them more, erase them.

If it is a mathematical topic, list all the formulas you will need later to solve problems in separate sheets. In your free time, when you don’t feel like exploring new things in your brain, you can just scam through them to recall. It has been helpful in memorizing formulas this way than going through them for the first time. This helps you to familiarize yourself with the topic more and more. Also, try to collect the previous year question papers so that you can practice them while revisioning.

Take a break in different time slots according to your preference. Don’t keep your eyes at a stretch into books rather give them rest. Keep greenery near you and stare at them for a while. It helps your retina to regain energy. Also, keep yourself hydrated.

An important thing to follow is that don’t go through the topic you could not finish the night before. Start with new things in a new day. It will keep your mind fresh and help you to remember them longer. In recent days, students tend to keep them awake at night studying. Always remember, a healthy body keeps the mind refreshed. For this, you will need to wake up early. You can give it a try. For the first days, you will feel dizzy. But later you will feel adjusted. You will also notice, whatever you study at the starting of your day stays longer in your memory. But, I’ve already said, things vary from person to person.

Don’t go to the exam hall without practicing mathematical problems on your own. A lot of students think, I know how to do these, I have practiced these problems in class. Let me not waste my time doing it again now. Please do not make this mistake. Do it at least once on your own before your exam. Okay, if you think that you have other topics to cover, then go through those first. Start with the later ones. Because many of us have covered the first chapters while attending classes. Later, come back to these problems that you think you can solve. While practicing, you will feel hungry. If possible, take sweet things for a snack at that time. While brainstorming, your brain will require a sugar supply.

Don’t sit for studying in the same place every day. Give yourself a new place, a new mood. If it is possible, change the orientation of your study table sometimes to elevate your mood.

Lastly, please revise, revise, and revise. I know, you may not have completed your syllabus. But still, please review whatever you have studied these days before your exams. Otherwise, in the exam hall, you will feel like, you know the answer but it has stuck in your throat.

Another thing to say, take some rest before entering the exam hall. Or take yourself for a short walk. Give your mind a little 5 mint rest from the study. Drink a glass of water if you can, it will help you with your blood circulation inside your brain. Always be positive. Hope these tricks and tips will help you with your study to get a better result.

Best of luck!
