This is a perfect idea to write it down in a card. Create a beta tester landing page to track, measure and analyse the awareness of your solution. I saw this landing page from https://www.mmhmm.app/invite/ where they are trying to get a list of the users who are willing to use the solution. I like this kind of idea a lot. The first thing is because you are not leaving to anyone to create an account and use your time, resources and money if they are not qualified. The second is because you can control how many users are on the list and just start to work with the ones you think are your buyer persona.

Are you planning to launch an idea? Think the strategy, launch it and measure it. Then analyse the performance and try again if you don’t have good performance.

Which one will be my first step to start? Before to pay for a solution I would like to know if what I solve my problem with your solution. So, here is the same. Let them use your solution for free to see if they can solve their problem. Otherwise, they let you know. If the product is good they will spread the word and you can collect data about their experience. I remember very well the beginning of Beautiful.ai. I saw a creative and easy presentation tool to create beautiful and quick presentations. What? Wait… for Free. I couldn’t believe it. A few years later, after reading news about a new seed investment, they created a free version with limitations and a premium plan. I see clearly the path they did to create the solution and it makes sense for me. As a user and as a marketer.

And what then? Once you know the jobs to be done of your solution, change your strategy and provide a landing page where anyone can create an account for free asking for a few questions. Then, once you have clear the problem you are trying to solve and if you know how much the users are willing to pay for that, change the strategy to a trial version of 15/30 days with a subscription plan.

Here is MY idea to start, not the perfect and unique solution. Not just as a marketer, in my personal life I use the PDCA cycle, plan–do–check–adjust, plan–do–check–adjust, plan–do–check–adjust.
