Are you bored just relaxing, continuously asking yourself what day it is?

All you want is some new ideas to try at home.

Don’t go stir crazy, and don’t cement that permanent place on your sofa. There’s more to life than that despite the lockdown.

You also probably don’t want to listen to anyone else advising you on how you can utilize this time to clean and organize your house or work out at home. Sure, we all have huge plans to do those things, but it can be put off for another day, right?

Let’s get to it. Here are some enriching and fun ways you can do at home until it’s safe to get back to the outer world when it’s free of covid-19.

  1. Learn a New Craft

There’s always a crafty project that you’ve been meaning to do, so why not now? There’s a lot of time on your hands while you are home, so start a new hobby or pick up the forgotten one.

Fan of music? Why not explore your interest and learn how to play a new instrument. If you don’t have one, you can always order online (if home delivery is available!) and start playing through YouTube videos for beginners. There are so many videos on YouTube where you can learn according to you, so don’t let this time go waste.

2. Connect With Friends Virtually

Some of us can’t spend a day without talking to our friends, and our mental health needs that too. It’s just that we have to do it virtually. This will probably bring out the laughs, and this is the only medicine you need right now.

3. Take an Online Class

Colleges and universities have online courses you could take. I always wanted my classes to undergo online so that I can learn comfortably. And now you have the time. You can also learn a new language through online classes or take a course which you want to discover. This might come handy if you take an international vacation after the lockdown is lifted. You can also pick topics that you find tough in your academics and book a class at www.rubex.in .Rubex is a really cool platform where you only pay for the class you take and you have a one-on-one session with the educator.

4. Binge-Watch a Series

Want to find out why everyone’s mumbling about Baby Yoda, but you haven’t sat down to watch “The Mandalorian?” Now is your opportunity. There’s a lot of shows that are excellent for binge-watching while you’re still home. Perhaps you’ll want to turn on new shows like “Picard” or catch up on those classic “Seinfeld” episodes.

5. Cook

Cooking and creativity go hand in hand. You’re stuck at home, and the groceries are waiting for you. You don’t need all the ingredients; just put together what you have and make something new. You could even bake something up. Living with family for such a long period can be frustrating for them too. Baking sweet treats for your family will help sail through this, but do share from a distance! I mean, who doesn’t want to whip up a cake after binge-watching “Big Bang Theory” for hours?
