Pedro Pascal Is A Daddy We Can All Learn From To Persevere In Our Dreams.
Keep Your Hope For Your Dream Alive.
“Yup, I am your cool, slutty daddy,” actor Pedro Pascal admits a little uncomfortably but grateful and gracefully.
Pedro isn’t used to this avalanche of love and admiration pouring in from all over the world. This phase of his life was in the making for almost 30 years, and now that it’s here, he is trying to make the most of it by sending his love and appreciation back to his fans.
The first two decades of this acting career were, to say the least, slow and meandering. Minor guest roles for a couple of episodes and theatre gigs were all that were coming his way. Many actors in a similar situation would have found these 20 years disheartening. But not Pedro. For him, his love for acting was greater than the struggle this job entails. So he kept at it.
Then, a golden opportunity came in the form of Oberyn Martell for the fourth season of Game of Thrones (2014). Those seven episodes brought Pedro on the radar of a larger audience. And while Oberyn was remembered for a long time, Pedro somehow faded away.
The next golden opportunity came in the guise of DEA agent Javier Peña in the Netflix crime series Narcos (2015–2017). Here, Pedro was the lead man and did a commendable job carrying the show. The show was a success, but again, for some reason, its influence faded away.
Fortunately, Pedro’s efforts didn’t go to waste. He was noticed by creator Jon Favreau and got cast to portray the leading role in The Mandalorian (2019), the first live-action Star Wars television series for Disney+. Pedro, with his partner in crime — the mechatronic puppet Grogu, was able to please the hearts of Star Wars fans worldwide.
These three shows slowly and steadily expanded Pedro’s reach among the audience and markers of movies and shows. But all hell broke loose (in Pedro’s favour) with the HBO drama series The Last of Us (2023).
An adaptation of a video game of the same name, Pedro portrayed the role of Joel Miller, a traumatised and hardened survivor living in a post-apocalyptic society tasked with escorting the immune teenager Ellie (played by actress Bella Ramsey) across the country. With the nature of this show, the gut-wrenching writing and directing, the heart-breaking and vulnerable performances by the actors, and the overflowing support of the game fans, The Last of Us made all the right noises in all the right places.
And this (which was 30 years in the making) led to the internet’s obsession with Pedro Pascal.
Yes, he’s a daddy, a zaddy and a self-acknowledged saddy. But people are realising he is more than that. Pedro Pascal is a talented and gifted actor who can play any emotion and any role you give me. He is sweet and kind, supportive of his fellow human beings, a cheerleader for his own memes, and loves the heck out of the people who shower him with love. And when you stare deep into his soft eyes, you’ll see his relief and gratitude for finally living his dream and being recognised for it.
Pedro Pascal is the perfect example and proof of what happens when you believe in yourself and persevere in your dreams. One day, the Universe will have no option but to bend its knee in front of you.

It isn’t actually his Adonis form you’re responding to. It’s the beauty he carries inside. His interior light burns so bright, it’s simply taken some time for your eyes to adjust. But now that you’ve seen him, you know too.
And aren’t we glad we did?
