RubyConf Colombia gap year
Organizing events is hard! So we decided to take a break, we will not organize RubyConf Colombia in 2018. Don’t worry; this is not the end. We plan to come back in 2019.
We are very proud of everything we have achieved in these three years. We are thankful for everyone who has supported us along the way.
Why take a break?
Putting together a world class event in Latin America is tough, making it financially accessible to the local community is even harder. All this has put a toll on the organizing team.
We will use this year to recharge, work on making the conference a sustainable effort and making local Ruby communities stronger in Colombia.
