RubyConf Colombia is almost here, and we have a few recommendations for those who asked us where to stay.

This year, the conference hotel will be Hotel Ibis Medellín. It’s a great option considering its location, comfort and affordable prices.

For those looking for upscale options, we recommend the hotels we used during the previous years conference Inntu Hotel and Diez Hotel.

In case you’re looking for cheaper options, we recommend you check Hotel Asturias, Terra Biohotel, Hotel Alameda and Lleras Green Hotel.

Also, Medellín offers a great variety of hostels for every budget, so we also recommend you check Hostel Rango Boutique, Green Hill Hostel, El Alternativo and Living Hostal.

There are not very good options near to Ruta N (the venue), but there are many transportation facilities to get there like the city metro, cab or even Uber.

The event dates will be a peak season in the city, so we highly recommend you sort out your accommodation as soon as possible. If you don’t have your conference ticket yet, you can buy one here.

We look forward to seeing you in Medellín!
