The storm is coming. Their bodies want to flee, seek shelter. However, their wombs want to converge, become the shelter. If their Mother Nature has taught them anything, it is that their power is not in reigning, but in allowing. So they let go of their water pots and allow the wombs to weave a circle. As the world flails around them, they become the eye of the storm. Together, they wait to discover where the stormy portal delivers them. After they land, they would begin to rebuild their world. For now though, life asks them to simply gestate in the web of wombs.

We are in a collective moment of reckoning, for the next few weeks. Eros and Thanatos duel in the collective consciousness, as we seek to grasp the tenuous straw of a vaccine to return to ‘normal’. However, it is not yet time. ‘Normal’ needs to die completely, and with it, parts of us that seek to return to the old ways of being and doing. Covid-19 had arrived to align us to what is essential, and to reinforce our collective identity. And it will continue to do its job patiently, till we learn to listen.
We cannot be vaccinated against our egos — that is something we need to willfully cast aside, using our own discernment and personal power, just as the women in the picture cast aside their water pots. Yes, perhaps the storm may break their pots. But it will reveal their true path ahead, free of themselves.

I am free of the chore…
