So… what exactly is Ruminari?

Ruminari is a space for teens to share news, stories, and personal opinions about issues affecting their communities, society, and the world. Young advocates can seek to create perceptible and meaningful change across the world and their communities through Ruminari by not only raising awareness but also by sparking discussions on controversial topics.

What are Ruminari’s stories like?

Stories found on Ruminari are filled with a diversity of viewpoints and ideas. We strive to garner different perspectives on politics and current events. For our news pieces, our only requirement is that all facts must be checked for validity and thoroughly researched. We also look for inspirational and newsworthy stories that fly under the radar of large news outlets, profiles on people who make impacts in their communities, and interesting causes and organizations that deserve a little more awareness.

Can I write for Ruminari?

Any teen (aged 13 to 19) with a passion for social change and writing is welcome to write for Ruminari! Teens may either join as a regular staff writer who or submit a few articles of their choice. For more information, contact Alice Vivian on Medium.
