ICE Gets a Taste of Chicago Resistance
The Trump regime has declared war on Chicago, but, like Portland, the city is showing Americans that surrender is not an option
Let’s start with this before we get into this weekend’s news about Trump’s war against Chicago:
Did you know that Congress authorized $170 billion for border and immigrant expulsions for the next four years? This is more money than every law enforcement agency in the United States put together.
According to the Brennan Center for Justice:
It is more than the annual expenditures on police by state and local governments in all 50 states and the District of Columbia combined.
It turns the U.S Immigration and Customs and Enforcement, aka ICE, which receives $49 billion, into the largest law enforcement agency in the nation, bigger than the FBI, which comes in at a comparatively meager $11.1 billion. [Source]
The regime also fired 65 immigration judges, replacing some of them with military (JAG) judges. According to the Brennan Center:
The administration has also moved to halt all legal orientation and support programs that help vulnerable immigrants navigate the complex…
