Triumphant World Half champion Geoffrey Kamworor arrived in the country Tuesday, revealing his plans for the rest of the season.

Kamworor discreetly landed back home after stealing the show in Spanish city of Valencia, romping home first in a time of 1.00.02 to bag a rare hat-trick of titles.

The 25-year-old king of the half marathon had split the second 10K of the race in 27:46, and 13:01 for 5K between 15K and 20K to lift the crown in the best fashion possible.

He landed at the Eldoret International Airport to no fanfare, thanks to perhaps poor coordination and communication from Athletics Kenya over his arrival.

Nevertheless, the police officer, now in the annals of history for kicking his way into the club of the few legends, has no dying spirits for more laurels. He joins a rare league of among others, Paul Tergat and Zersaney Tadese of Eritrea.

Kamworor, dubbed the “Man Of All Surfaces,” will take two week break before taking on 2018 Diamond League showdown that kicks off from 4 May 2018 in Doha.

“I am glad to win the World Half for the third year running. This great! When I go back to training, I will be concentrating on track events in 5000m and 10000m as preparations for the Diamond League series that starts in May,” he said.

Out of 14 series circuit of the DL, will be taking part in 5000m event set for Shanghai on May 12 and 10,000m onslaught in Olso planned for June 17.

Besides DL, Kamworor who has grooved his bona fides in 26.2 miles, said he is keen in defending his New York Marathon title later in the year.

“Yes, the remainder in my diary is to prepare to defend my New Yoirk marathon title later this year. I am looking forward to doing well in the events.” Kamworor added
