Over the last few months (since January) I’ve been reading a lot of books about running, and thought I’d share the list with you all as I really enjoyed each book. They were all unique and also interesting. So without further ado, here we go:

North by Scott and Jenny Jurek

This book is about ultrarunner Scott Jurek’s (aka Jurker) experience trying to beat the world record for running the Appalachian Trail going in the more uncommon North direction. It was fantastic. I actually listened to this as an audiobook, which narrated by Scott and his wife Jenny, which probably made it more entertaining.

What I Talk About When I Talk About Running — Haruki Murakami

This is a commonly recommended book in the world of running books — a collection of essays about running by Japanese author Haruki Murakami. It’s just his own thoughts about his running experience — and he runs a LOT.
