I’ve been thinking about it for a while — should I get a more advanced running sport watch? One with all the bells and whistles (or a bunch more anyway).

I’d been thinking about this again on the morning of the day that I listened to this great podcast that I follow on Spotify — The Running Explained podcast. It’s a great one!

And it was as if the universe was telling me something as this was one of the more recent episodes I had saved/bookmarked. It’s Season 4 episode 21 called: Data Driven Training For The Everyday Athlete. And you can listen to it here or anywhere you get your podcasts:

What I learned totally changed my mind on getting a fancy (and more expensive) running watch!

I’d been thinking of either one of the (many) Garmin Forerunners — as that seems like the favourite watch of a majority of runners. But I had been kind of leaning towards a Coros watch…
