My total mileage for the month of September was 132.66km. Not too bad I guess. It should have been more had I stuck to my 50km training plan — which has been a bit derailed due to foot injury and vacation, but I’ll get back to it! (because I don’t actually have a 50km race I’ve signed up for — I just want to challenge myself to run the distance of 50km so I can do it anytime I feel ready/prepared to without any huge expectations!).

Sunday September 1

Ran 16km with run/walk intervals of 20 seconds running, 30 seconds walking. Was very doable and felt like I could go a lot further but didn’t want to jump up too much after missing a run this week — i was supposed to have done 23km. Stopped for a few bathroom breaks along the way. Loved the sunrise and the clouds this morning. Tried a new baby food pouch. Liked it.

Hit some awards on Strava — a PR for a portion of New Brighton park and my 2nd fastest along my Greenway running route.

Average pace 8:38/km. Not bad considering the interval ratios!
