This month I ran 136.93km. Still going up each month from previous (last month’s mileage total was 93.88km).

Friday March 1st

Run #108. Did an easy 6km on mostly rain, and it was chilly 2–4°C. My average pace was 8:22/km (strava) or 8:36 according to my Fitbit. And according to strava I only did my run in zone 2 41% of the time and tempo pace 53.7% of my run. I had initially planned just 5km, but by the end the rain had finally stopped so decided to continue on a bit more. My left heel has a small wound after yesterday’s run in bad shoes but thankfully it didn’t hurt on today’s run!

Sunday’s long run intention is to do 16km from the other week’s 15.

Sunday March 3

Run #109. My intention for today was to run 16km — furthest so far since starting back running again!

And I did it! Average pace 7:37/km according to Strava (and 16.25km according to it), 7:46/km on Fitbit.

It was chilly, with some light rain showers at points but otherwise, pretty good! Took walk breaks. Tried to stay in zone 2 but that didn’t really happen today…
