The “city of angels” has a lot to offer, including amazing scenery and beaches. Here are three great running routes in Los Angeles, which offer great ocean and city views that you can’t miss while you’re in L.A.

1. Temescal Canyon

Located near the Pacific Palisades, this hilly trail offers beautiful canyon and ocean views. Ideal for runners looking to get out into nature and those looking for a challenge.

2. Runyon Canyon 4K Loop

Runyon Canyon Park is known for its celebrity sightings, its dog park, and is a must-see when visiting Hollywood. On top of that, this loop offers panoramic views of the city from Inspiration Point and Clouds Rest, and is a great workout- expect some uphill climbs!

3. The Strand 11K Out and Back

This route takes you along Santa Monica State Beach, on part of the Strand. Starting at the iconic Original Muscle Beach, and ending in front of the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium, this is a popular running route amongst visitors and locals.
