It’s not too often that unconscious players are sharpshooters and great teammates. Unconscious in the sense that mistakes have a very limited impact on effort and ultimate performance. That’s what you get with 2027 Lucai Anderson, a COCA Basketball product and next in line out of the Anderson camp. Like his older brother, 6 ⭐️ class of 2024 brother via The Lovett School/AOT Chris Anderson Jr., Lucai is ingrained with lifelong principles and a professional work ethic that allows production to continue seamlessly level by level.

Lucai has been putting up astronomical numbers during his development stages.

As a 3rd and 4thgrader, he averaged high double digits playing with the 2024 class in the one of the most if not most competitive Middle School leagues in the country on the Riverwood feeder team.

As a 4th grader 10u(SEE DATES) he lead a 6th grade team under NBA All Star, Paul Milsap’s Core 4 program.

Over the past two premier National events, Prep Hoops Southeast Kickoff and On The Radar: The Opening, Lucai had a few decorated 30pt performances that helped his current team- TEAM HUNCHO- remain a contender.

The most enlightening thing about these performances is that Lucai is completely engaged in the journey and not phased by the hurdles faced. When asked what his favorite thing about basketball? - “Dribbling and shooting” sounds pretty “Unconscious” to me.

Most recently, October 22,2021, we had Lucai at our Elite 12 Showcase featuring Top 12U players from the class of 2027 and some select 2028s. Anderson’s skills were on display. Showed he can handle pressure, apply pressure, break down defenders to create shot and spot up off ball. Anderson also showed his IQ and creativity completing some high level passes out of double teams.

We saw a different side of Anderson at the Elite 12. He played off the ball out which is not usually the case for the hybrid guard and showed solid 2 guard fabric on a team of ball dominant players. That difference in role brought touches and attempts down lower than usual and is a KEYreason his team didn’t pull off a sizable victory. He finished with 14pts 5rebounds 2steals and 1block. RR
